Early Childhood Education-"The art of making sheeps in childcare"

With Easter around the corner-having your children make these in childcare can be fun and exciting. What a great way to use fine motor skills; to cut and glue the felt pieces on the sheep. Art and math concepts to be creative and counting the cotton balls.

Materials needed:
  • cotton balls
  • white cocks
  • felt (various colors)
  • googly eyes
  • glue
  • scissors
  • pom poms
By cutting pieces of white socks and stuffing with cotton, children can apply math concepts by counting how many cotton balls they use to form the sheep. Using their imagination-they can create a sheep... Happy Easter
