Early Childhood Education-"The art of creating Easter Card in Childcare"

With Easter around the corner, this is an activity that children will enjoy to put together. They will have the opportunity to trace there hands and be able to use their fine motor skills to cut out their hand that they traced. This cute and sunny yellow chick card makes a perfect holiday greeting for Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa or anyone that you care to share it with.


Materials:

  • 2 sheets of yellow construction paper(Use the first sheet to trace an oval, use the other sheet to trace the children's hands)
  • 1 sheet of orange construction paper
  • 2 paper fasteners
  • 2 large wiggle eyes
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Black marker

Early Childhood Education-"Encouraging children to work together and make an Egg Carton Caterpillar "


With spring around the corner; there are many creative projects that can be done with children in childcare, preschool or daycare. By having the children participate in these activities, they will gain many life skills; sharing, learning to work together and communicating with each other. They also have the opportunity to use there imagination and become creative. These skills are very important and is the foundation of a child's upbringing.
