Early Childhood Education-"Encouraging children to make a- "Cooking Project"

Cooking is a great skill to teach children at a young age at preschool, daycare or even at home.  Its a skill that helps children read, do math and organize their work logically.  Its very hands on, especially being able to teach children about nutrition.  There are many simple cooking projects that children can create.  It also promotes conversations among the children and problem solving with one another.  Also. a great way for children to use there fine motor skills:  Simple recipes include:
-pizza (kneading the dough)
-fruit kabobs, using raw spaghetti (making kabobs)
-lemonade (squeezing lemons)
-tacos (adding ingredients to there own)
