Early Childhood Education-Reinforcing Shapes


 
Many preschool children are visual learners; meaning they need to be able to see color displayed in a way that captures their attention.  Using colors and shapes is a way to reinforce there learning.  Spelling out the shapes in different languages can be beneficial.  Children can use there fine motor skills to cut the shapes using scissors.  Where there art is displayed at their level and they are able to identify the words with the shape.  There are different art activities that one can create with young sponges.  This art activity can be laminated and displayed throughout the classroom or there home.
